Hi guys. Maybe you can help me!

When there are pics in the posts, sometimes I can only see half of it! Other times, it automatically shrinks them, and then I can see the entire thing.

If I change my screen size to 1040Xwhatever the heck it is, then I can see them just fine, but I'm old enough

that I have trouble reading the posts. I guess I could press my nose up against my computer screen... LOL.

Anyway, is there any way to resolve this prob? My computer is a bit on the old side, and I use AOL for my ISP. Does that make any difference?

TIA! You guys all rock!

I ahave this same problem sometimes, and I have no idea how to fix it. Sorry, but I am going to keep an eye on this post to see if anyone does.

Thanks everybody! I appreciate the responses even when you can't help me... makes me feel normal instead of dumb

4-H Mom- am now using IE. thanks for the tip and it's doing better, but still having issues. I set the desktop size to that 1040x?? and brought my font size up (thank you to whoever posted about CTRL and the roller ball on my mouse!!). I still have to play with screen size a bit, but it has certainly all helped!

LOL some of this stuff can be a pain, but I find I usually learn something while trying to fix it!!

When the pictures show up oversized, you can hit the F5 (refresh) key on your keyboard. That has helped everytime for me. Hope this works for you too.

Hey all! The forum should be resizing pictures automatically, but I'll look into why there might be some issues. I've not ever noticed it, so it may be hard for me to duplicate.

One important footnote: Everyone's pictures posted in the forum should be max of 800 pixels wide. Even if the forum resizes pictures, it only changes the display size, the file size remains the same... basically slowing down the forum for people with dialup.

We should all make sure our pictures are not wider than 800 pixels. If you want to have the detail of a huge picture, use the thumbnail image and / or just link to the full size image.

If you notice users posting huge images, gently and kindly ask them to resize their image and edit their post with either the new image size or a link to the huge image.

Thanks for reading!
