I'm hatching so few actual lavenders, I'll probably hatch all winter, too. I now have seven tiny lavs, which is not very many considering I have seven adults, although they are still quite young. Started out letting them try hatching their own, which met with only a little success.

I WAS going to stop...but then people like Sonew keep posting eggs so I keep extending my hatching season!!! ALL I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS IS A FLUFFY LAVENDER SILKIE BABY!

Ok it seems that I have been blessed by the Porcelain God! LOL! I have them popping out like crazy. I finally have a Really nice Cockeral with great Porcelain cover. Usually the cocks have a Lav body with the Porcelain color over the shoulders. This fellow has nice color throughout. He's young but is just starting to fill out!
