Hey sonew123, how do you think this girl with a black silkie would look. she is a lavender splash.
I also have a lavender split roo who is more greyish self blue coloring, should i keep my girl with my black roo? what your thoughts?

Now she is very pretty-can you get a pciture without all the shading? like on a table with a dark cloth under her?

they should be 4 months old to start showing. And i love the crest on them .

4 months is way to young for silkies. They mature slower then other breeds(at least the exhibition ones do), my birds are never ready to show until they are at least 6 months and that's pushing it sometimes. It takes months for pin feathers to finish especially in the crest, tail and body.

Your whites are very nice, keep them in condition, and give them some time, then give them a run for their money
