I have to agree he is beautiful. I hope my silkie who is black turns out half as good as yours. Have no idea if its a male or female yet. He or she is only 28 days old now. Just starting to get the feathers in its feet so cute. Let me see if I can find a pic of him or her. Not going to be good its from my cell phone.

Our hatch rates have made it to 88%

We are still getting a few recessive whites (mostly silver based). Boy O' are they pretty!

Our new incubators should be here this next week so we are hoping that helps improve our hatches even more.

I mistakenly disassembled our Brinseas... the girls are laying up a storm... might have to sell some eggs over the weekend if anyone is interested. Just don't want them to go to waste...

We don't sell eggs because we want them to have the best chance possible. Someone else might have better success with this weeks eggs if our incubators don't get here next week!

We have been supplementing 1- 4 times a week with calcium, E, selenium and multi vitamins. Not enough to build up in their systems and be harmful...

Hope ya'll have a

WHAT ADORABLE LITTLE EASTER CHICKS!!!!!!!! You have the PRETTIEST babies!!!!!!! Good Job!!!!!

My Lavender Roo "Gabriel" I got from you is doing well. I saw him mating for the first time yesterday! YEA! He has a beautiful tenor crow, several notes higher than my Black/split lavender roo "Midnight" (also from you via Judy). They are two beautiful boys. I'm not supposed to have chickens, let alone roosters, but I've fallen in love with them and will just have to risk it.
