Self Blue (Lavender) Silkie Thread

I plan to evenutally breed the above roo back to self-blue to get porcelain but right now I am focused on the self-blue. I'm just now getting my first eggs from my lovely pullets. A black and a self-blue. My cockerel is also self-blue. He is still very immature looking. Here's my lastest photos of them:

I love your birds is the black a lav split from catdance also? I have 4 from her lavender project

pen they all look so different my favorite is kind of a partridge looking lav split. Your rooster is really nice looking Im afraid my lav roosters comb has too much dark red in it. I included a pic of that lav split I really like. Also I know u breed splash I posted a few pics of my splash rooster on the blue/splash thread no responses just wondering if he has good conformation and coloring. I dont know much about that color and I havent decided if I want to make another pen for B/B/S. He is from a breeder in Lincoln, Ca California Country Ranch she has some beautiful birds. Thanks!

I like your parti/split. Very pretty! The black pullet is Catdance, yes, but not split. I am using her to improve the roo and will breed babies back to him. She is really a nice girl. If you will give me the link to see your roo, I will check him out. I don't subscribe to that thread.

Here is my other lavender. I am hoping female. She is just pet quality - so ugly she's cute. This is the day I got her as a companion to my porcelain baby (a single hatched out of two dozen shipped eggs - I just couldn't let her grow up alone) her face says it all (the lavender is in the front or on the left in each shot):
