Self Blue (Lavender) Silkie Thread

Hello- I have posted this everywhere on the World Wide Web, so please forgive me if you've seen it before. I'm looking for a Lavender roo that I can pick up at the Knoxville show Dec 7. I had to put my boy to sleep after he had 3 months of severe wry neck that wouldn't go away. I have 5 lavender/porcelain/black split hens that need a hubby. I'm wanting to get them bred in the next couple of months, so that I can show the babies in the fall. Thanks so much (I did put this in classifieds). -Pam Pittman

Turns out that I don't need a self-blue anymore- I needed a porcelain/heavy on the lavender. Thanks! Pam

Looking for lavender and porcelain hens. Willing to wait until spring for delivery or can pick up local(SW Michigan). Have a black split to lavender rooster and a porcelain rooster. Would possibly consider hatching eggs but waiting on our very first batch in the incubator and hoping it goes well. They are splash and paints.

Hi- need to double check myself here on split lavenders...

Black Split x Black Split= All black split?

Lavender x Black split = All black split? (no lavender colored chicks?)

Thanks!

I have gotten lavendar out of black split to lavendar parents, 25%. And you will also get lavendar chicks from lavendar x black split, probably 50%

Whoo hoo! Thanks :) I thought I was going to be swimming in black splits. Not that I don't like black splits!
