The odd thing is that the babies have brown on their backs! They really look just like little chipmunks, LOL! Of course chickie down is always subject to change, so I'm really excited to see what comes of this. I have never seen such adorable babies, they are amazingly fluffy. Their feet are also very nice!
Ill post some pics of their backs tomorrow.

The other porcelain has no buff on her, just dark lavender splashes. I'm not sure what color to call her. She wouldn't let me take any good pictures of her tonight though. My one black cockerel is starting to mate everything in sight, even my pants or shoes

For the show this last weekend, I entered 2 of my pullets as 'blue fawns'. I got the hint beforehand that if I did them under porcelain with this particular judge that he would DQ them instantly. Lots of people that didn't raise silkies that really liked the color. They go to the Hutch show in a week and a half and I left them as porcelains. I already know they can't do better than best AOV anyways. On the 2 younger ones I have left, I'm pretty sure I have a pullet and cockerel too. My Mom claimed them as her own lil breeding pen.

Hi I was wondering if any of these look like they might be lavender? I think the two on the right are a blue and a splash(?) (both from bobbi porto eggs).

It is mainly the two on the left of the photo that have more of a lavender tint with a yellowish tinge to it that I am wondering about. The one on the far left is from bobbi porto and the 2nd one in from the left came from a different breeder from an egg that was marked 'Lavender Splash'.
