I want to thin out my seramas, they are 3 months old. I have a couple questions for those who are familiar with this breed. How much is a good price for pullets? I know quality is hard to tell until they are older but mine are not show quality I do not believe. I think $20 is not bad considering there are no seramas within a 3 hour drive. I hand reared the babies from shipped eggs and they are very friendly because of this. I want to know if that’s a reasonable price considering location factors and they halfway to laying age. My next question is I have one pullet who is considerably smaller than the rest, does that mean she is more desirable? Or ? I’ll attach pictures. Not the best pictures so bear with me lol. First pic is the small one I call lil wing

What state are you in?

Try to keep your birds feathers in prime condition, dust bath.

And don't go any lower on your price. It's a very fair price.
I will do! What do you recommend in a dust bath? Regular ol dirt or is there a type of sand to use? Can I ask your opinion on lil wing? She looks kind of *ahem* ugly (for lack of a better term) compared to the others. I feed them a good diet.

I agree that $20 sounds quite reasonable, in my area (North Florida) you would be able to sell them very quickly for $20-25. I recently sold some 2-month-old pullets for $15 each very quickly, and they were just extra feed store chicks, not hard-to-find breeds.
Thank you! I didn’t think it was too high considering they’re not chicks and I’ve put months of feed and care in to them. Thanks for your insight 😃
