I know a lot of you sell your eggs. Do most people buy them to eat or hatch. I'm especial interested in any one that live in NY just see what type of market is out there.

Cant Help You With The Whole Yankee Market Thing... But I Focus On Eggs For Propagation... Sell All Over The Country And Fetch A Much Better Price Than Eggs For Consumption. Also Many Places Have Annoying Regulations Like Usda Inspection And Licensure Requirements For Anything Intended For Human Consumption Which Tend To Complicate Things.

Looks like you simply don't specify if they are for hatching or not, and if asked, why yes, they are of course for hatching! heh.

Just curious -- how much do they retail for in your region?

craigslist ad says it all, and I am quitting my day job...

Qual Eggs $10.00 per dozen.

what do "those that raise no quail, but want to eat quail eggs" want to pay? .10 per egg? wholesale, retail, would you say a fair price is .20 each, would love to see .25-.50 each regularly for us all. There is a higher end farmers market every saturday, 2 miles from my house. I will check that out and see if anyone is selling.
