Selling scrap metal????

We just had a scrap lady come here and pick up hubbys truck.. she gave him $200 for it. There was no way we could get it to the scrap yard ourselves..(didnt run and not legal on the road)... i was happy with the deal.

So today, after reading the responses----I'm thinking don't give it away for free. Find someone who can haul it and will split the profit or find a way to scrap it myself. I just can't decide

We'd help ya out (because we're pretty close to Holland)...but we dont have a truck anymore...
