semiauto Eggs Turner ?

hi all....to all Genius ppl here has anybody built a hommade semiauto eggs turner?

Well, I almost didn't answer this because a genius, I'm not, LOL, but here's what I'd consider a semi-auto egg turner. You turn it by twisting the PVC pipe from outside the bator and the entire tray tilts side to side. It's just the bottom of a milk crate and an egg flat to hold the eggs with PVC pipe attached to each side.

but i wonder if just tilting side to side would be ok ?

Could you just use a book type holder (you know the ones that hold a book at an angle) and place an egg carton on it. Then just flip the carton around each time?

I would think that it would mean less heat loss since it would just take a second to turn the whole carton.

Tilting from side to side is all you're really supposed to do. It's all an automatic egg turner does.
