Hello! This community has been the next most addicting thing to me since becoming a chicken owner last fall! (The chickens being the most addicting thing, of course!) Any chance you will start a flock of your own someday?

While I'm not 100% certain about it, I might look into it someday!

Why don't you have chickens? Are they not permitted where you live?

While chickens are allowed with a permit/license in the town I live, I live in a neighborhood, so, while I don't know if the HOA forbids it or not, they might not be very pleased with the idea of owning chickens.

You can always get a few quail to keep in a guinea pig cage. The eggs taste like chicken, and there are scissors on Amazon to quickly get them open. It’s just a thought.
