I raised 9 new pullets this past spring and one of them is a rooster. I didn't know this until after I had introduced them into my existing flock. Now at 16/17 weeks old it seems I have two separate flocks. When I turn them all loose to free range in the afternoons each group heads in opposite directions. When in the run they seem to mingle some but still it's obvious I now have two separate flocks.
When roosting at night each group is at opposite sides of the coop.
Should I consider a second coop to avoid problems later on

Honestly, it can go either way. Sometimes the male's get along, especially if dominance is established early on, sometimes it goes sour
