Separate injured chick?

I have a 1 month old Jersey Giant chick who has a pecking sore on her wing, because of this she was pecking the other chicks to keep them away. I currently have her in a separate box to heal, with medicine applied. Is it better to leave her by herself, or do I give her a companion? (I don't know if she NEEDS the company, or if she'll just continue to peck them to keep them away from her wing.)

Welcome To BYC

Can you post photos of her injuries?
What are you feeding?

If possible, keep her separated but near the others. Maybe in a dog kennel inside the coop or run so she can see the others.

Thank you!

I'm giving her medicated chick feed and electrolyte water.

The others are in a brooder that I can't separate her in, that's why I was wondering if she needs a companion. Since she's still young I don't know if she needs another body for warmth or anything.

How is she doing?

It looks like she's being picked on and plucked.

How much space do you have in your brooder? Sometimes space is an issue with picking, sometimes there's a bully. Provide them with chick starter free choice, ensure that the feed stations are adequate so all the chicks can get to feed and water.

She's healing very well, I've been cleaning and applying ointment as needed.

I just got her recently and she came with the injury; therefore, I can't say as to her previous living situation, but I have her separated for the moment.
It appears that she's currently the bully, I put her with the others for a few minutes today and unprovoked she started pecking everyone else. She's healing well, but as for the cause, I won't know for sure until she's completely healed.
