First time hatching with a broody. Im so excited! :wee 6/7 hatched so far and Momma is doing great! The other hens (1 SLW/EE mix and 2 other cochins) all help momma babysit and even my Favorolle roo is helping. Since everyone seems to be getting along and helping, do i really need to separate mom and babies from everyone? And if not what do you suggest as far as food and water in the coop so that the adults arent partaking as much and the chicks have what they need? Thanks

As long as the flock is acting like that, leave them where they are. Flock raising does away with the problems involved with integration. Try providing a creep feeder for the chicks, and placing the adult feed in an area they can not access.
