Separated louie

I finally separated the males .. I have a large dog kennel and I set that up in the coop. So they are still kind of all together. It is set up next to where they all sleep

This morning I opened the coop and they started fighting then Sally my hen walked down the walkway to outside and both my drakes started pulling and tugging on her . She was kind of stuck
So I picked her up and she sat on my lap

So I rearranged the coop have louie in it. Hes not happy and I am sad I had to do it. Better than. Finding that something horrible happened

So louie is up for free in the rehoming section

Unless you wanted to get 4 more females I would go with getting rid of him. What a cute duck! Hope he finds a good home!

This is the drake we gave up. He is in a happy home with Magnolia Ducks. It is hard but it is for the best if you cannot provide enough breeding age hens

We might ask to visit if we ever go that way. It is toward Houston and I avoid going near Houston as much as I can.
