okay
I just got four two week old chicks two days ago and have them in my brooder with all of the fixin's
Today I discovered one of them had obviously been injured by another chick. She has a lot of feathers missing an bleeding from the thin little flap of wing between her back and wing. I cleaned it but don't want her in the brooder until she gets to healing.
I have her seperated on the other side of my brooder pen with heat and food and water but she keeps trying to fly out. The top is covered with wire but I'm afraid she will injure herself more if she keeps trying to escape? She keeps hitting her head on the wire.
Any recommendations that aren't culling?
