Separating ducklings

Could we separate ducklings after they are born.Would this effect how they will live free range when they get older like would they not learn something’s or would they be just fine.

Sure u can separate them. I am semi new 2 ducks, but our ducks formed "cliques" like high school kids whenever we decided to free range them. With that said our ducks stayed with their hatchlings until adulthood and then dominance was established. Now we have a loner or 2. Shunned from the "pack". Don't worry though.. they are born with natural instincts and the strong will survive. Always stay postive
