ok, does anyone want or is anyone interested in whole flax? i give mine some every other day and their coat is really shiny and pretty. i can do a gal ziploc full for $5.00 was also thinking of doing ziplocs of crushed limestone (what the local feestore does for the calcium in their layer crumbles) for $3.00

if enough people are interested i will make up bags tomorrow for saturday.

it's seed. i throw it to mine on the ground or in their food. it gives them an oil source (hence where flax oil comes from). they like it, and it gives them a shiny coat and it helps keep their skin nice and not dry.

Fluffy-butt-farms,
how about you bring your turkey and I bring my second mystery EE (the brown one) so he can sex him for me? I'll buy him a new "baby" if he helps me out.
Is flax a small, white-ish grain? Almost looks like wheat? I have a little bonus bag of grain for the chickens that the feed store gave me, and I've forgotten what he said it is.
