Sept. 13 chick arrival! anyone else expecting chicks a little late?

They are here!!! The post man called at around 9:50 and brought them to my door at 10:00.

All seem healthy, drinking, eating, sleeping and pooping with (so far) no pasty butt.

Pictures soon to come, I took lots of pics but too busy watching my new babies to post them at the moment.

Plus I have housework to do that I put off the last couple days. The plan was that those chores were supposed to keep me busy today and tomorrow while I was waiting for the fluffy butts to arrive and now . . . well now I'm just plain behind on my housework.

i'm expecting 15 chicks next week!! Woot! Can't wait. Keeping busy with finishing the run and coop for their arrival so that they will be totally protected. Still need to finish the walls in the coop and build a brooder for them.

And I thought waiting for the rabbits to kindle in 30 days was tough!

Did anyone receive theirs today? I thought mine would be here today...... getting anxious, even though I know they could arrive as late as tuesday....
