I set mine last night(13!)!! Where did you get yours?!

Green Fire Farm isn't too far away from where we live, but I thought they didn't sell hatching eggs? It would be awesome if I were wrong.

Mine are from Ebay and I really hope they are legit! I emailed the seller last night concerned about the varying sizes and colors of my eggs and she reassured me they were legit eggs....they better be b/c they cost a fortune!! What do your eggs look like?

If you won them last Friday from the lady that was from IL we got them from the same lady lol... Both sets of my eggs I got from the farm and her look the same. The only thing I'm thinking 3 eggs of the ebay lady were smaller. I have a feeling she is selling some eggs from a new layer in her group. Also alot of people think the eggs should be white. Well no they do have a brown hint to them.

lolololol that's too funny!!! Small small world it is. I'm a actually excited we get to incubate together.

I will let you know how many of mine are Fertile on day 7.

Purchased 15 Silver Grey Dorking hatching eggs 8/21. At day 10, culled 8 due to being infertile. Have had to cull another 2 since then due to stopping growth/infection/bacteria. 1 of the eggs is noticeably larger than the others and is not as advanced inside as the others... It's at about half the growth of what everyone else is at. I'm thinking it may be a stray turkey egg... or who knows. Either way, I think I have 5 SG eggs (and 1 turkey) that are good so far (out of the original 15). I'm currently on day 13.

I had heard about the infertility rates of Dorkings, but now I'm getting a close up lesson on it. Anyway, wish me luck on the last half of incubation with my babies. With blessing, they'll hatch on my birthday (9/11)

Have an order in at Sandhill for White and Colored Dorkings. Should get my confirmation letter this week letting me know when I'll be getting those.
