so just my luck to get someone that needs to hatch eggs!!! If we get a few to hatch I can keep a girl or too and that makes me sooooo happy! Can't believe I finally get to do this, I'll update again when I get them in and I'm gonna be setting up the incubator this afternoon. Should I be worriedly all it's my first time?

Hi all. I'm going to be joining you, I just set my eggs. They are going to be mixed. This is the first time I've hatched from my own eggs and I'm really curious what these crosses will produce. I have a Rhode Island Red rooster. And the hens are barred rock, EE, Rhode Island red, white leghorn and a Marans. I collected the eggs for the past week and I have 27. I have them in my Farm Innovators with a fan but it got crushed so I taped it back together so I'm I've been running it since yesterday and it seems to be holding steady. I am not expecting much since I don't know if all the eggs are even fertile. Here's pics of the roo, hens and eggs.

Greeting September hatchers! I'll only be setting 6 or 7 eggs this month for my last hatch of 2016. I'll check back in on the 7th when I drop em in the bator. Good luck to everyone!:highfive:

Joplus with black sex links hens will be all black, roosters will have yellow dot on their head. I did a lot of reading on black sex links chickens and.I'm hatching some now. Will see what happens in 11 days! Good luck with yours.
