It's time for september hatching! Here in Australia we have gotten our first fake spring, which means it's time to fire up the incubators and bring new life into the world.

IT's so good to see familar names pop up in the hatchalong! I have a second incubator coming so fingers crossed I get another hatch setYay to false spring, although I wasn't quite ready for temps in the 30's (Celsius)
I have set 7 Silkies due on the 10th. On the 14th I also have due 10 Welsummer, 7 Olive eggers, 3 golden cuckoo Marans, 1 wheaten Marans and 1 Birchen Marans
Are all the maran eggs you have the super dark chocolate colour?I can't sleep so candled my eggs. Silkies are all doing well in the little incubator.
I took out 2 Welsummer and the Wheaten Marans which were clear plus one OE had quit in bigger incubator #1.
Incubator #2 is early days but it looks like all developing except one Marans cross and maybe 2 olives, but they are hard to see in so I'll check at day 7 and 10. not bad for posted eggs
