I really want to participate, but my girls have quit laying for the time being! I do have some questions though. Is this something that is done alot? I see that you send 6 eggs, do they all have to be the same breed? Or can you send one of these and one of those?

I've only done this once but what I think is you can send one of this and one of that. You would just email sending mix and you'll receive mix or that could mean mix breed. Maybe someone can clear that up

I do think your right. Even if they are the same breed but different colors it is concidered mixed.

I do hope more people join. I put in for 3 boxes My girls are going at it big time right now. Well of a certain breed are and the others are being lazy but enough to get 1 box of theirs out with a few extras.

I'm looking forward to participating in the future...I have no eggs or chickens at this time. However, after this weekend, I'll have a coop! I just moved, and have had to start all over! Have fun, ya'll!

I thought about asking the guy across the street if I could buy some of his Asil eggs. But I was told he don't have anymore. Probably a good thng in his case. Last month I was desperate for a roo because a deal fell through at the last minute and I had to put a roo that wasn't the same breed as the girls in just to have fertile eggs. The mix makes beautiful chickens for sure but not what I wanted to send. I'm still looking for a roo. Normally I can't find homes for roos now I can't find a roo. lol
