Good morning all! Checking in here.

Just wanted to brag a tiny bit....my DH decided to surprise me with another incubator on Friday!

what a sweetie!

He saw that I was watching one on ebay and sneaky man went ahead a bid/bought it before I even knew! The auction was ending right around pick up time for daycare so he just snuck it right in under me.

I thought a good deal, IDK, maybe not?! it's an LG 9200, came to $40 incl shipping. I really should just break down and build a BIG one, just don't trust my ability to build one.

hmm, i think we are hitting the swap meet in OH on the 27th, maybe i can find one there.

well getting a big one is not safe either...I went from one to two very fast. But I have started a great business selling chickens so I am making money. Big incubators are really fun, but they are more work too.

I have 3 small ones but they're going because I'm going to get a big one for spring hatchings. I'm already putting my pennies away towards one.

I think I'm going to get a Dickey. Right now I have two LG's and a Hovabator. I love the Hovabator!

I'd thought about getting a big one, but everyone and their brother has chicks to sell in the spring, so I'm sure I would not make anything on them. So I'll stick to my hova 1583 and my LG, and hatch what I want

The hens can hatch all the eggs they want, and I'll sell them when they get big, if I don't plan on keeping them

I really don't like my LG's. I had to buy them in a hurry when a BYC'r sent me 6 dozen eggs when I thought she was only sending me 6 eggs. LOL I've had my Hovabator for years. I bought it to hatch out parrot eggs in case my parrots proved to be bad parents but that never happened. So the Hovabator sat in the box for years waiting to be used.
