I have had very good luck with my Exo Terra reptile hygrometer that I purchased at my local pet shop. It is more accurate than the digital indoor outdoor thermometer/hygrometers. I keep my humidity at 40% and at lockdown I up the humidity to between 60-65%. GOOD LUCK!

I cant believe it I candeled my eggs tonight just before I went to lock them down and I am pretty for sure one of my eggs has the chick down in the air sac! Or pretty close to it!!!I put this egg in the mrning of the 20th so that would make it OMG I just figured out I miscalculated it would be today thursday is day 21 whoops! luckily my humidity has been a lil higher than usual the past few days! OH well!
I was counting from aug 21 as day 1 but since I put it in the morning of 20 that is day 1 right? I took it form the hen house straight to the incubator!!!!

My second incubator is in lockdown, and this morning I heard a very faint peep from one of the 7 lavender orpington eggs. I saw an egg wobble, too! Later in the day I heard some tapping, and now I have a pip - from a different egg!
