Yesterday was lockdown for my eggs with hatch day on Friday. 14 of the the original 18 are still growing

I have Wheaten/Blue Wheaten, Lavender and Lavender Split Ameraucana eggs. Now it is nail biting time! The waiting and wondering how many will hatch can drive a person nuts!!!

I should be right in the zone! I don't know what is going on in the incubator. I can't see through most of the eggs. I even have the old slide projector out and rigged up for candling. The BCM eggs are really dark!

I candled the BJG eggs last night and 6 of the 7 are developing!

Wow - Alot has been happening around here in the last 1 .. 2 days!

My chick I hatched out Monday is doing great .. just a little lonly so I had to put a guinea keet in with her to make her Shut her Beak!

Guess what?

An egg is hatching under my broody hen!
Oh, a few days ago I stuck another egg from Mrs. Fluffy Puffy under her .. *Coughs .... somehow I forgot to tell my mom ...

I purchased the same flashlight and you can even see into those dark FBCM eggs with it.
