So I have 3/5 legbars and 6/7 nj from cjwaldon developing! I am very pleased with that!

Both the other legbars and the one nj did start but quite sometime early on. 100% fertility.

Mr heinz! Are these your chicks? I think I have an 8a and a 8b hatched, but they dont look like the last ones i got...more puffy!

Is that all that your broody hatched? The brown one is a Silver Penciled Iowa Blue. That's my favorite variety. Did I only send 8A, 8B, and 10? The other one looks like an RIR or OE.

yes! 8a 8b and 10.
No, the broody is on the eggs. These were one she let get cold that I rescued from her a few weeks ago. I popped them under her too, however. Ill get a pic when She decides not to hatch any more and I put the rest of the eggs in the bator as just in cases.

Shes not like any of my other broodies, she got off the eggs to show me her chicks, I had to stick her back on. She wanted me to pick them up. never seen that EVER. ( not that I had that much experiance...)

The other chick was very red, maybe a rir? The iowa was having a bit of trouble moving around, if he is still squiggling tomrrow, i may put him inside and give him the cup treatment.

May I ask....................What is the cup treatment ??

you put them in a cup there size so they sort of do push ups and strengthen their legs, if they are wobbly or not holding their weight up.
