If you will use a heatlamp on those cold nights, I suggest one of these. Much safer from fire than regular lamps.

Hey! I have a few Seramas and was wondering if y’all have any tips for care for them or bantams as a whole! I love learning new things to help my chickens! Thanks!

I have same question in SC but have an open with 3 walls at one end covered coop/run. Must I create separate

housing for Seramas during cold? They do have perch with wall-mounted heat where they sleep at night. Days they hop down and are exposed again to cold.

I believe your area (South Carolina) doesn't get extremely cold. Don't think you need any heat at all.
Do provide a draft/wind free area where to roost for the night.
If you look how a Woods Coop, is constructed, it is open on one side completely. The interior is draft free well inside .
