This is my Serama pullet, Marionette. She was hatched on July 24th. She has grey legs and feet. What is her color called? I believe she's in the biggest weight class as she is 17ozs. It doesn't make a difference either way as she's is a very loved girl, but my daughter and I have been wondering. Thank you for your time

Ok. That makes sense. Not sure why i couldn't come to that conclusion by myself, hahaha! She's my one and only Serama and she's pretty spolied. Her wattles have sprouted out like weeds over the past couple of days. Not sure why her face and comb are still so pale. I'm guessing she's coming into POL soon according to her wattles and pelvic spacing.

Please tell her that she looks like the sweetest and softest of chickie babies and I would love to give her a hug.
Would you believe me if i told you that she knows she is absolutely beautiful? Hahaha! She is a proud little girl but I'm guessing that's the "Serama way" :) She is very touchy feely and LOVES to perch upon a human, the top of my head whenever my hair is in a messy bun, being her absolute favorite. I have to convince her to come down often so she doesn't poop in my hair. I admit, my little Dutch Bantam pullets have pooped in my hair on a couple occasions :idunno

It is now my life goal to have a messy bun with a serama perched on top.

I'm actually not sure if my Dutch Bantams or Marionette like it more. It took a while to get used to. My daughter wants them to perch on her head so bad but she has beautiful straight silky hair and i don't think their little feet can grip well on her head, like they can in my curly coarse nest atop my noggin, hahaha.

You'll enjoy it until you find an awful smelling cecal poop deep in the bun, hahaha!
