i was considering cleaning out the incubator today, and saw an egg with a pip.. wasnt making progress or noise, so i picked at it a little, no blood, popped the top off and here is #5... quite a surprise.

the 4 from yesterday, who did fine in the incubator all night.. thanks for the advice.... i am feeding ground up pulverized turkey starter its 24% protein, medicated.. please tell me thats ok..

Also with Turkey Starter that is Medicated, there is different medications for Turkey that could not be good for chicks. In my honest oppinion, I would use Dumor Chick Starter which is unmedicated or another brand of starter that is unmedicated. you hear alot of stories about chicks over doseing on the protein and medication that wasnt meant for them or their age.

i have Dumar chick starter but with medicated. i will switch to that. i am really afraid to go non medicated. but i guess they arent going to come into contact with anything.. i will dump the turkey right now. thanks.. but i thought i read people using game bird, that is even higher.. now i am confused. they havent really eaten much of anything but they are starting to pick at it.
