Oh no! How long was it that high? I ask because I have had temp spikes to 106 that did not kill my eggs. The eggs heat up much more slowly than the incubator so it is possible they survived. This close to hatch it is hard to see movement. I do hope they are okay.Well I am completely heartbroken. Somehow the thermostat fluctuated to 107 degrees and I believe I cooked my remaining serama egg and the 13 barnyard mixed eggs that I used as fillers. I candled the serama egg and I saw no movement. I am devastated.
They might be then. Maybe I'm just worrying to much. It wasn't for more than two hours. I caught it fairly quick. I guess time will tell...
OMG I had fallen asleep on the sofa. Got up to get in bed and heard a high pitch peep spun around ran towards the incubator and low and behold the 3rd serama egg that I thought died days ago is HATCHING!!! I almost peed my pants!
