Serama Hatch-Along Thread!

I have 7 eggs that appear in tact, and are waiting to be stuck in the incubator. Currently they are all pointy side down and snug in a carton while they settle from their long journey. (They came from Virginia all the way here to South Carolina).

I am doing a themed hatch. We have 7 eggs. I say themed. This is a 7 deadly sins hatch! I figured it was fitting cause I have 7 eggs! Pick your sin and egg!

You seriously want them named a sin? If so, Pride. Don't see that as a sin but it's listed.

Eggs 2, 3, and 6 all have the bubble in pic 1. Pic #2 is of egg 7 (thats the shell not the inside)

Hey. Can I use oil pastels on eggs? Might just stick with pencils. But for future references lol

I wouldn't put oil on a hatching egg. I have no idea why but it sounds like a bad idea. Maybe it'd hurt the bloom? I know there's oil in the wax some use to seal up cracks though.
