Checked the three unpipped, no movement, leaving them another day just in case...

They took so well to the brooder !! Well, mostly... I tried using pine shavings, but they are so small, they looked like they were getting buried lol, plus the little quail waterer was spilling all over. So I left some shavings under the heater, took the rest out, and put in a pup pad. I made clucking sounds by the water and food and they all ran over, soo cute !!:love my heart is exploding, these guys have so much personality already. Fluffy pics below :) I hate to have favorites, but the tiny black one always takes the lead, he even hatched first ... named him Napolean :p he/she is the only straight black, theres two dark brown, three golden brown with raccoon eyes, and one bright yellow that tweets aLOT :wee

Update pictures as they grow! What color are they?
Two weeks old, it's crazy how fast their feathers change. I brought home a small coop and plan on making it an outdoor/grow-out brooder, found it for 40$ on craigslist and it's super cute, perfect for the fluff squad :)
I took pics at 1 and 2 weeks, a few attached below, I'm so curious about what they will eventually look like, especially mr. Napolean. O and p.s. napolean started crowing at 12 days old, I can't believe it, the tiny conquerer :gig

My small coop is a converted 4x4x5 doghouse, and centered in my 10x30 run.....
I'm debating whether to buy two pullets, and keep two of the cockerels with the four girls, and just be happy with 6 (but I know I wont...), rehome the rest....
Or, at the risk of hatching all roosters with my luck, hatch 6 more, and be prepared to rehome as necessary :/ I have a third chicken run/coop in the works, it could hold a bachelor flock till they needed rehoming....
And I just told my bf to put the incubator back in storage :th
