Serama rooster unresponsive

All farm stores carry this, but powder packets may be cheaper. Mixing instructions for powder Corid is 1.5 tsp per gallon. Here's what it looks like

Okay,... He just stood up on his own and started chirping and walking around a bit and nibbling on food.... BUT he had a pretty bad looking diarrhea... It's like a soupy tan color with a red and green bit in it.... I will try to post a pic. Doesn't particularly look like blood but not sure what else the red would be....

Some would say that's just intestinal lining, but it could be from worms, coccidiosis or disease. When I see those in mine I treat with Corid *and* worm, but that just me. :D Can you take him and/or a poop sample to the vet?

I don't see any signs of worms in the poop... Even the older droppings... I will head to tractor supply and get some Corid.

I'm encouraged that he is now standing on his own and eating quite a bit of the special mixture I made of crumble with sugar water and scrambled eggs. He is still closing his eyes a but but standing and occasionally chirping .....

I don't have a scale to weigh him and not sure what is "normal" since he's a Serama. My pullet is quite a bit larger but she has always been larger. He's more a class B size. I have a "safe" space heater on that he is standing on his own in front of. It's the type that doesn't get hot to the touch but blows warm air.... I'm afraid to leave hi to run to the store.....but guess I need to!

I really had trouble with seramas when I kept them. They are adorable but seem prone to congenital defects so that may also be a possibility if you rule other things out. I've never had trouble with my bantam cochins, but had several seramas go "legs up" when they were fine the day before. If he will drink, but not eat I would think that he ate something off the floor like a bead or other small thing that is stopping him up.

Just because you can't see them doesn't mean he doesn't have them, do some research on that. FWIW, I rarely see any signs of worms, but I have had to treat for blackhead, so I know I have worms. Some worms are very small, like capillary and cecal, so I doubt you would see those, I never have.
