For the longest time, I thought my boy was a Sultan D'uccle X.
I saw a picture of a white Serama the other day and other than the head and the lack of boots, it looked a lot like him.
I miss my boy and I'd like to have something similar.
I listened to a Serama crow and watched it's body language, seemed very similar.
Then I listened to a Sultan crow and that too was similar.
If I put the two together, it sounded just like him! Sadly, I have crowing footage from Roo Boy.
So I thought I'd ask for opinions.
I know I'll never have another just like him...but something his size and with that gentleness would be awesome...

Here are some photos to base your opinions on.

I'm sure plenty of you are sick of seeing him and hearing about him....I'm sorry...I still having a hard time with this!

You can see in the second photo, he has a black feather at the base of his tail.
He would grow those occasionally in different spots. I don't know if that helps anything....

He's definitely a Sultan cross. A pure Sultan would have a V comb rather than a single comb that splits in the back. I'm not familiar with Seramas to be able to say if that is in fact what he is mixed with. It's also very hard to judge his size. Several breeds of bantams have low wing carriage and upright tails along with single combs. His foot feathering isn't really diminished like you would see if one of the parents was clean legged. Given all factors, I would still lean towards a Sultan/D'Uccle cross.
