Seramas fly?

Do you worry about them getting away/going in the neighbor's yard/etc?

Im on a farm, so they would have to fly reeaaalllllllllly far to get away. lol They only fly for short bursts like any little banty.

Mine could easliy get into the neighbors yard but never leave. I do see the serama mix walking along the fence top all the time. I think they stay because half the flock is silkies and frizzled cochins that can't get over the fence and they would rather be with the flock.

Amusingly enough the only bird I have that leaves all the time is my cuckoo maran hen. You can hear her land on the fence top from inside she is so heavy - I'm surprised she can get up there. But she stays right by the fence perimeter.

Maybe she thinks the grass is always greener?
