Just got the silkies established and already back sitting on their eggs! (14 eggs were included!!) I got 3 Black silkie hens and 3 Black Silkies Roosters. I really don't need 3 roosters so I think I will sell 2 of them tomorrow at the sale barn. I literally just drove 120 miles round trip for free chickens! Yep that settles it--I am addicted to chickens! lol The guy said they are only about a year old and he is just trying to stick to the white silkies. So some of the egg may be black/white silkies because he has a white rooster. [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

Nice score. I seen them on CL last night but I'm sticking to partridge colored silkies. I'm glad you got them.

Way to go!!! I love my Miss Inky. She is a black Silkie, and has a lot of attitude.
