Serv´s up.........what´s this, then?

Boy are they pretty.
Yes, they are, although quite small. They´re both at least a year old, apparently. I thought mine were the size of sparrows, but these are smaller! The woman said these tale a long time to grow. She had some 7-month-old ones there that are smaller than my 4-month-olds!
People around here call the auto-sexing ones common geese...which is quite funny as they´re not that common, but I reckon it goes back to the times when the auto-sexing geese were just known as common geese, before they started giving them breed names. I reckon it just continued on over here...
The portuguese came in the 1500s, the Italians in the 1800s, the Scots and English were here at the turn of the previous century, followed by Germans and Dutch...all of these countries have these kinds of geese, so I guess there are pockets of these all over the place, all slightly different depending on what´s been added or not...
I´ll post close-up pics of them later to show their BLUE eyes.

(p.s. I´d thought about getting 3, but we made a wrong turn and had to pay a toll twice,

so we didn´t have the cash on us...but these 2 will do.)

I didn't know these were your 2 new ones, they are so sweet. Have they met the gang yet?

Oh, yes! I have them in a separate pen within the goose area, as I wanted to worm them first and let them get used to their new surroundings without getting bullied. When I put them in their pen they were surrounded by the thugs and bless them, they were ready for a fight, too!! I think they expected an assault! Well, they calmed down, and the two thug patrols go over and visit regularly. The males give them the eye, and the females shoo them off! I´ll give them a few more days in their pen where they´re secure, then I´ll let them out. There´s lots of space around here for them to flee if the interest gets too intense. I´m hoping they´ll naturally be attracted to the auto-sexing family. ( 2 of the males will be their mates). So far, so good, as those are the ones mainly visiting at the moment.

I´m also pleased because they have the same very mild nature.

Can't wait to hear how it goes when you let them out. seeing the thugs coming at them may be a good reason to fly best have your camera ready in case you get to run backward for a pic. well I think the flying geese part is over in another thread.
