Serve open head wound is Black

One of my chickens was bitten by a dog once and had similar symptoms of seizing, not eating, and not drinking. We got her in a coop alone with food and water, kept it ventilated and dry and relatively shady in there for her. We poured hydrogen peroxide on the wound, then put triple antibiotic in it then let her stay in her space. She bounced back like she was never hurt, but I don’t think these are the same kind of injuries. I would do what I did for her though, and get her in a space alone with food, water and make sure it’s comfortable. For the injuries I can’t help much. Sorry and hope this helps a little!

Happened about 4 days ago. The other chickens did it to her during the night

I don’t want the op to use hydrogen peroxide though. I’d rather her use gentle soap and water or an antibacterial soap.

In addition to all that's been said, mix up some sav-a-chick or electrolyte water and use a dropper to give it to her if she doesn't drink.

I just had a similar incident with one of my newer girls, although not as severe. They can pull through!
