Chicken Kisser
Day eighteen down. 3 to go!
I candled again tonight and the four good ones still looked good. I decided to pull the questionable one. I opened it up and boy was it stinky! The embryo must have quit about a week ago, maybe earlier. I decided to pull it because tonight I noticed that the air cell was moving around and it was questionable anyway. Glad I did, cause it was rotten!
I'm so excited that these are getting so close. I'm amazed my Silkie has stayed broody for so long. I think it has been like 5 weeks or something. I'm glad she will get a few chicks to raise.
