Set 40 quail eggs today! *now with photos* *and a pesky question*

Supposedly the water wiggler temp is more accurate, but when I tried using that, mine was reading like 105. This was in the same bator, at the same settings, that I had been successfully hatching eggs in for months, so I gave the wigglers to my son.

But you could always average them, though I don't know how accurate that is. The wigglers are supposed to mimic the internal temp of the egg, so you could go by that one.

The wiggler is what goes the furtherst up and down, I saw 105 and I saw 94 off of it, It's consistently off the other 2-3 in there. I think I'll follow suit and just keep the air temp 98-101.

I use a water bottle but mine quit working. My air temp swings from 97 to 102 & my water bottle did stay around 100. Cheap thing from Walmart reads 110 now setting on the shelf.

Yeah, could be, it's summer and i've a bit of lazy time ('cept for grad school online), but it's way less than my normal 80 things to do each day. Did I mention I woke at 2 am to check on them?

I'm just worried i'm gonna over or under cook them......

Ok I'll try not to fuss and bake something instead, anyone want brownies?
