Set a ton of eggs this week! (NOV 6th & 7th)

I just set over 50+ eggs on sunday morning and Monday. Most are silkie eggs but there are a couple LF cochin eggs too! I hope I will have loads of fuzzy butts in 3 weeks!

Yay! I have received 30 of 48 ordered so hope to set mine on Thursday !

looks like lots of ppl are setting eggs this November! Get thoes brooders fired up. I am glad that I have a brooder in my insulated shed so I dont have to keep all the babies inside all winter.

NOt sure how I am going to manage the winter though, I am going to order two electric hens for both brooders, but we have such a small house. Maybe they can go in the caravan ? My shed coop is 6x8 and the brooder will fit fine but its not insulated.
Luckily I have 24 Rir x Sussex, and 12 legbars that are auto sexing, so numbers will drop, and 12 rir purebreed.
Guess ill have to cross that bridge when it comes !

OHHH and I have more sitting here waiting to be set! LOL I just need to get another bator!
