Well got home and nothing yet. I did open the bator real quick to see if I could hear chirping and nothing

Hope that is not a bad sign........I just have a weird vibe about this hatch

I think cause it is the first time I have put bantam eggs in the bator

How is everyone else doing??? Elly_Mae, How are your little babies ?

I got two pips!!!!!!

I checked before i went outside, nothing, came back in checked, and I have 2 PIPS!!!!! One is a green ee egg from Atlchick and one is from my hens. If I listened quietly, I could here a muffled cheep every once in a while starting last night.

locked down on tuesday and....nothing yet!!

so im still waiting... finally got my humidity up to about 60... i hope everything turns out

Hey all! Like most of you I started the lockdown process this week. Tuesday morning. I have a staggered hatch due the next 3 days. Went to bed at 10 last nite and nada....no pips, no chirps, no rocking or rolling. About 2am I hear the *CHIRP!! CHIRP!! Up I stagger and lo and behold a chick is not only pipped, but out of its shell and looking for momma! Up at 5:30 am to a phone call about more eggs at the PO and look in bator. 2 more out and dried off! Now there are pips and chicks! Not bad, not bad!.
My gdaughter spends today with me and she gets to watch the chicks hatch. Woot! Now for the rest of the 4 dzn to hatch!
