Set eggs 3/5. Looking for others to hatch with!

I just now found this thread, I also set 9 eggs in a eco mini on 3 /5 and I have 3 pipped and 1 zipping and I'm worried to death my first pip is dead..... pipped about 2 this afternoon and nothing more, the second egg that pipped is zipping, and my hubby just heard chirping so at least 1 is alive.................. I wish they would just hatch the wait is killing me......................how do you all do this, is it easier after a couple hatches cuz I think I won't make it through the night if they don't do something more soon.......

update 7;18am
They are still working on it, another pipped overnight, and the 1st pip is alive still she has a few more pieces of shell chipped off this morning........I was hoping too see chicks this am, but not yet. I do have a question though, my humidity seems very high in there the paper towel I laid before lockdown is wet, and the sides of the incubator are very dewy........... the mini eco does not have a humidity meter, I also had 1 pip on the almost underside, so I peeked the top open and turned it more upright, is that going to hurt anything, there isn't much wiggle room in there with 8 large fowl eggs for babies to move out of the shell. The directions said 10 eggs but I set 9 and 1 was bad at day 8, so I guess for every ones future reference in this particular bator, I would't set more than 7 eggs next time to give them a bit more wiggle room. Is there anyway to get the humidity down a little or should I just pray?

you know I have been hatching poultry for 30 years and never worried about a hatch i set, but then my incubators were not in the house and wont be this go around...I find out of sight out of mind...come lockdown I candle then check once a day to make sure temp and humidity is correct , but I dont touch until the hatch is over. and my hatch rate is 99% overall

I have 12 (I think) hatched...several more pipped or zipping and totally can't count how many are left to do anything. It's a mess in there! They started about 5pm yesterday and I refuse to open the bator! I really want to, but going to wait until at least tonite before bed to put the little fuzzy butts in the brooder. I have 16 in the big brooder box in the barn, but it looks like they will have to come in tonite. They are about 3 weeks old, and its going to drop to the teens or 20s tonite. I don't think the bulb I have will keep them warm enough. Glad I put the brooder boxes on wheels!

Well, so far -
4 in the brooder (easter egger is the darker one on top, top right is the NNxEE without a naked neck, 2 on bottom are NNEEs!!

and one still in the incubator that I had to help, silly thing pipped the small end of the egg and was working at it all night with only a small hole, it is doing pretty good and drying/fluffing out in it's basket.

No others pipped yet, but I am going to give it 24 more hours to make sure. I was not sure of any of the dark eggs (the EE & most of the NNs) when I put them in lockdown cause I never could see into the shells.

Sometime in the night while we were sleeping our eggs started pipping

So far 3 Ameraucana eggs and 1 EE have externally pipped. I can hear cheeping sounds coming from the bator!

There are 26 eggs total, I'm so nervous....and impatient...this is my first hatch. Need y'all to send good hatchin' vibes my way!

AH! This is driving me CRAZY! Today is hatching day and still nothing. No pipping, no chirping, no NOTHING. I'm getting so nervous.

Thank you and I am keeping my fingers crossed for you

Same thing going here.....no pip....no cheep.....no wiggle.....nothing. I told my son I wish they would all hatch tonight while I'm asleep and I just wake up and there's chicks sitting in my box and it will all be over with.
But one of my barn chicks was pipping today!!!!!!! I gave it to my broody that has been sitting on top of a toolbox for weeks and weeks. She just decided two days ago to sit on another hen's eggs in a nesting box so it worked out perfect. I thought I was going to have to try to put her in a crate. I hope she hatches a baby more than I hope I hatch a baby. I have five hens and they all have chicks getting ready to be born. It's not that many chicks though because I made everyone share the eggs so each hen would have at least one baby to love and then when the mommas are finished the chicks can be together. My roo has been pacing in the barn the past two days acting like a nervous proud pappa. He's attacking everyone who comes in and sleeping next to dark Earleen and won't let the other two hens that aren't broody near her. It's really neat to watch them. I wonder what they say to each other that they know babies are coming???

Hatch day is tomorrow for me too. Someone could at least let out a peep or move an egg a little. I am hatching in egg crates this time and I wonder how much harder it will be to see wiggling going on. Well, at least by this time tomorrow I will hopefully know if this time will be success or failure.
Congragulations to everyone with new babies!!!!!!! Pictures are always enjoyed.

Yeah I know, today is hatch day and they haven't done ANYTHING! Starting to get worried that none are going to make it...
