Set eggs 5-12 Looking for hatching buddies

Put some of the pics of our wagon ride in my album. We were the only one with draft horses. Everyone else had mules. Loads of fun!

I see another little beak poking out!!!!!! Oh hurry up little one, I can't hardly wait!!!

Well another one poped out, but not the one I was expecting to be next. SAD#

Should I take them out of the bator after a bit and put them in the brooder? maybe when they are dry, or not? Oh shoot, I was doing just fine till the first died and now I am worried to death!

WE h ave 3 pips!!! I saw one baby move inside the others I am just worrying about! if these get out we have 3/8 so far.
Someone Pray for my ginger eggs they are the ones I really wanted!!

I put my 24 eggs into lockdown yesterday!

silkies: 4 lavender (possibly porcelain), 1 blue/black/splash, 2 black, 4 blue/splash, 3 buff, 4 partridge and blue partridge and 3 white

bantam cochins: 1 blue columbian, 1 calico/mille, and 1 blue calico

Temp on my Hovabator Genesis seems to be holding between 99.7 and 100.1. Humidity reads 52%, but I think it is actually a bit higher than that. Next time I am going to buy a dial hygrometer to put near the eggs for comparison. I'll post photos when they start hatching.

Fingers crossed for you! I put mine into lockdown last night. I gave up on the candling. I just saw black masses. Don't know if that means good or bad.

Guess I'll see when hatch time is over.

I so wish I Knew what to tell you!! I am so sorry your chickie died! We all get so attched to our little eggs. i am so worried about mine. i keep looking and waiting and only one of htem can I see moving. Maybe find a number and call a hatchery and ask?

All I know is keep the bater closed during lockdown, every time it is opened it loses heat and humidity that can be fatal for the newly hatched and the ones still to hatch.

Sorry you lost your little one hope the rest do better.
