I started a batch of 24 Brahma eggs on the 5th and 15 Silkie eggs the 6th. I am a few days behind you

Right on! Wish I was hatching out your eggs!

Last time I hatched all mine hatched on day 22 & 23 so I may just be right on time to hatch with you and EquineAngel, although I'm hoping it's closer to day 21 this time, all the waiting just kills me! I have to get out in the garden and occupy myself or I'll be checking the incubator every 5 minutes lol

What incubator are you using? I'm using a Hova-bator 1588

I've hatched Wheaten/Blue Wheaten Ameraucanas and EE from my own birds and right now I'm incubating some Blue Copper Marans eggs I bought from the auction thread.

I'm incubating 15 Silkies ( splash, white, and blue) and some of my Buff Brahma eggs from my own girls

Great news!

Candled all 46 eggs last night.......1 Clear......1 sacrificed for control (had to crack one open to see) ......44 little fuzzbuttz forming!

This is our first hatch, after we kept seeing the same thing over and over again (and not sure what) we decided that we were either having a wonderful success rate thus far or we were growing 45 stink bombs. Cracking open the one egg allowed us to compare and we found perfect development for day 7.

The next two weeks are gonna drive me nuts!!!!!
