I set some Cayuga ducks on the 24th! =)

I set 27 brahmas on the 24th, 15 gold laced and 12 silver laced. Doing a 30 percent humidity too.

On the 21st I put 10 chicken eggs under my broody Turkey. They are Blue Cochin, Cochin mix, Black Sex link, BO, Barred Rock & Dominique. The roo's are Blue Cochin.

On the 23rd I set 24 eggs in the incubator. The hens are BO & RIR. The Roo is RIR.

I had a less than 50% hatch rate on my last set, but am happy w/what I got.

I love the picture of your White Crested Black Polish. I had one that was almost 3 months old. I didn't see she was trying to sneak out the door to the chicken house as I came in & accidently shut the door on her. She didn't survive. I miss her. She was my second favorite chick.

I came home yesterday and somehow my temperature had got up to 105 I got it back down to 99.7-100.6 I don't know how long they were that high. DH is not good at babysitting his daughter so she must have messed with it. I candled them last night and I could tell that all 12 were fertile and I could see the beginning of them forming. I hope they were not destroyed by this.

I have a pair you could have if you didn't live so far away? I have 3 pair and an extra roo. My son bought 16 chicks!!! Only wanted 1 pair, but have decided to keep 2 pair. My friends and family are full up now too!!! Leaves me with the roo and extra pair.
