After a somewhat bad trunout with my first set of eggs, I set another last night. I have none of my own eggs in the bator. Our rooster is a RIR, and the hens are either RIR, WR, Black A or Auracauna (they are the only ones I know for sure are in the bator

Let's see what march brings!!

Hi.... I am Malinda and I just put 11 eggs in the morning. The were given to me by my husbands friend. He says they are fertile, so we will see. This is my first time. Good luck with your hatch!!

I set my first homegrown eggs yesterday too. I have Barnevelders and EE crosses. This is my second ever incubation. My first was when I borrowed a Sportsman last year for 18 shipped eggs. I hatched 13! I just bought a Genesis 1588 and I hope it does a good job.

Stuck another dozen LF "store-bought' eggs in my bator this evening. The ones from the same source that I started 4 days ago seem to be developing............We'll see. This will be my first 'staggered hatch' in a single bator.

I put six RIR eggs and five Leghorn eggs in late sunday evening. so they should be done around the same time as you all if all goes well. good luck to you all!!!!!!!!!
