I know it is a bit early when I only set the eggs on 1/4 but I did put some bantam eggs under there and still no signs of hatches. I am using three broody favorell girls. they are so good one had a leak start over her head and she did not even get up. I dried her off and hand fed her she is doing fine very dedicated to her babies. I have not been able to candle them because they are very dark shelled they are copper maran eggs I got from a neighbor. I hope I get some babies it was 20.00 for 12 eggs I bet that is a great deal the neighbor is nice I just am kinda cheap I guess. no fruigle that's the word...how long should I let the girls set before I remove the eggs?
